Saturday, 12 March 2011

Core Sound Binaurals mounted on baseball cap > battery box > Edirol R09 (16-bit wav) > Audacity > wav > xACT > flac > you

Audacity: adjusted volume and edited out 5 or 6 short bits of diginoise (caused by faulty SD card, I think). A total of about 5 seconds is missing.

Subject: Secret history of rock music
There are some great stories here along with Robyn's wonderful renditions. The recording is not the best but the quality of the performances makes it very worthwhile. Here is some info about the show: http://www.massmoca.org/event_details.php?id=616
Boyd will read from his memoir, White Bicycles, as Hitchcock responds , with acoustic renditions of the songs that highlighted his career. SFist says, "One wishes literary-musical fusions were always this riveting.”
